Moooo

I have never been much of a milk drinker. I like milk in my cereal, with a chocolaty dessert, or after I've accidentally eaten have a box of Oreos. I also cook with milk too, but not very frequently. I hate going to the grocery store and buying half a gallon of milk and then it goes bad before I finish it. (Those smaller containers are too small.) I recently discovered Horizon Organic milk. Absolutely brilliant. Not only does it taste fabulous, I'm drinking an individual milk box now, and no I'm not eating cake. What I love most, it has a longer shelf life. The single portion I'm drinking now was purchased yesterday. It expires Sept. 13. WOW. This is like a miracle. Yes I might have paid more for it, but I think it's worth it. I recommend everyone try it. You can find a coupon on their website

C'est bon

Kitchens

I grew up in the design industry. My dad owns his own design business and specializes in kitchens and bathrooms. (You can visit his website here!) I have always had a love for unique kitchen spaces. Growing up in the south, I know the importance of a home cooked meal and the joy of entertaining. I love country details in a kitchen, such as a large farmhouse sink, and french country elements.

Storage is also key, counter space is limited so I love creative storage ideas, like these baskets for produce that does not need to be refrigerated, such as potatoes and onions.

Cupcakes that make an Impression :)

I have always loved Van Gogh. And I have always loved cupcakes! I mean seriously who doesn't? These make for a great centerpiece, that is edible too! I can't wait to try this!!

Repurposed Fireplace Mantles

So in about three weeks I will move out of the apartment I have called home for the past four years and move back into my parent's house. (YIKES! I know.) So, I think it is time for a room makeover! I have always been a fan of mantles as headboards, and here are a few that are done VERY well. I can't wait to have one! I love the one's that are tufted!
